Dubai Shopping Festival is once again taking over the charming Al Seef district to bring visitors 46 days of fun-filled activities, workshops, live entertainment and amazing fireworks.

This year’s festivities, from 16 December to 30 January, centre around the act of ‘learning by doing’. In the spirit of passing knowledge down from generation to generation, DSF Market at Al Seef will transform into a walkable outdoor playhouse and museum with educational interactive art installations part of the scenery. Visitors of all ages can engage, learn and explore four zones—named after the elements Water, Air, Earth and Fire—and play all the while understanding more about the rich culture and history of the emirates.

With themed weeks part of the calendar, this seasonal market is a must-visit for all. Coffee aficionados are in for a special treat with Coffee Week at DSF Market at Al Seef. Sip and savour the best of coffee culture, from authentic Arabic gahwa to Italian cappuccino, over barista experiences, tastings and workshops. Make a date to check out the market over Date Week when the neighbourhood transforms and visitors can delight themselves with date-inspired food, drinks, desserts and more.

Dubai’s fireworks displays are a can’t-miss occasion every New Year’s Eve so stop by to catch an electric show with the fireworks set to go off at midnight. For front row seats arrive early but if you do miss the big celebrations there are plenty more opportunities to check out fireworks with daily shows from 1-12 January.
