This is the first time we entered this awesome residential complex located beside the Dubai Creek. Location: Dubai Wharf – Al Jadaf Waterfront.

For several times we frequent Al Garhoud Bridge Park, we never knew that we can go inside to that residential complex that we’re just seeing from the bridge. We thought that the “bantay” will not let us in. Until one night we tried and walah! no one barred us from going inside the complex.

For some reason, I kept mentioning “Magallanes Commercial Center” maybe because I saw that building with unusual design, the Jameel Art Centre which is almost the same design of that Magallanes Theater in Makati. When I was a kid I never miss to stare at that building everytime we passby Magallanes Interchange. The building design inspired me to become an architect which I did’n;t. : (

By the way, for the millenials, aside from that, there used to be a Dutch Windmill in that complex which was demolished to make way for a new building. : (

Architect Carlos Arguelles designed the Magallanes Theater.
