Bollywood Parks Dubai is set to close for good and as rumours speculate that the park will be closing down as we know it in a matter of months as part of a restructuring of Dubai Parks and Resorts we decided to pay it a visit for the first and last time. Upon our visit it was absolutely dead, we certainly didn’t expect to have the entire Dubai theme park all to ourselves with absolutely no human in sight other than staff members! We certainly took our chance to enjoy this empty theme park all to ourselves in Dubai before it closes permanently to make way for Real Madrid World the world’s first football theme park!

With many of the rides closed and with the park opening much later than other parks at the resort AND the rides weren’t open for hours after the park opened it seemed as though people had other ideas about where to go. We took it upon ourselves to have a look around and show you guys a wonderfully themed Bollywood theme park. It’s a shame that such beautiful theming will be gone for good in the next few months and the future of the recently constructed GCI wooden hybrid coaster Bombay Express is unknown.

Update – It was announced on April 20th, 2023 that Bollywood Parks is closed for good but the Raj Mahal Theatre will continue to serve as a hub for private events. A reopening /rebranding of the park has not yet been announced and the fate of the recently built GCI coaster remains unknown.

It was recently announced that a Real Madrid football club theme park would be opening in Dubai. Whether or not this will be linked to this plot of land once again remains unclear.
