Jumeirah Mosque is one of the two mosques in Dubai, United Arab Emirates which is open to the public and even to the non-Muslim guest and visitors – the other one is the newly built Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque which is erected in the heart of Al Safa district. The project is being undertaken by the office of SMMCU or Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for Cultural Understanding. Jumeirah Mosque is also known as ‘the two minaret mosque,’ and this mosque is featured on the Aed500 note. Eventually the mosque was built through the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
