At the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, multiple experiences are offered to visitors of the magnificent, 51-metre long, 11-metre high, 20-metre wide, 10-million litre Aquarium tank that contains over 140 species of marine life. Included amongst these aquatic creatures are over 300 rays and sharks, including the world’s biggest collection of Sand Tiger sharks.Multiple aquatic experiences are offered at the venue. At the Aquarium Tunnel, visitors can walk through an enormous, 48-metre long tunnel filled with incredible and mysterious marine (species), witness the feeding of the sharks and rays, view the tank below them through a glass-bottom boat ride, and Cage Snorkelling and Shark Diving for the more adventurous visitors.

At the Underwater Zoo, visitors can learn of fascinating aquatic creatures from the oceans and rivers, in the three ecological zones of the Living Ocean, Rocky Shore (animals and creatures living in rugged, harsh environments, such as Humboldt Penguins, Giant Spider Crabs) and the Rainforest (freshwater animals such as Piranhas, Giant Catfish, Otters).
