The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and it was constructed between 1996 and 2007. The carpet in the main prayer hall measures 5,627 m2 (60,570 sq ft) and it is considered to be the world’s largest carpet.
