Positioned at the mouth of the Dubai Creek is the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, running over 620 hectares, it is one the few protected urban areas in the world and is home to around 450 animal species. The sanctuary offers bird watching experience through three bird hides at strategic locations so as to give the visitors a closer view of the birds.
