And it’ll apparently open its doors in the next three months…

Salt Bae’s Dubai restaurant Nusr-et in Jumeirah Four Seasons packs out every night with meat-lovers eager to get a glimpse of the salt-sprinkling chef at work.

But if you can’t manage to bag a reservation at his Jumeirah restaurant, it looks like you’ll soon be able to get your hands on a Salt Bae burger, which looks like it might be coming soon to DIFC.

Taking to Instagram, the Turkish-born chef shared a series of Instagram stories with his 20 million followers appearing to sign the lease on a brand new restaurant.

“Saltbae burger will be opening soon in DIFC Dubai. Signatures are done” he wrote on the first post.

After posting a series of stories signing the contract alongside DIFC officials. Salt Bae, real name Nusret Gökçe, then headed out to the centre of Gate Village, sharing further snaps to say that the new restaurant would be open ‘after three months’. So it doesn’t seem like Salt Bae fans will have long to wait to get their hands on his salt-sprinkled burgers.

He finished the string of posts by thanking the DIFC team, and the hashtag #saltbae burger.

So, will Salt Bae call his burger joint #saltbae burger? Where in DIFC will the restaurant open? And, will it attract as many celebrities as his Four Seasons restaurant?

Nusr-et Dubai has been frequented by stars including Paul Pogba, Rio Ferdinand, DJ Snake and Leonardo DiCaprio and even Vice President of the UAE and Dubai ruler HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been seen dining at the famous hotspot.

Only time will tell, but we can’t wait to hear more.

The Founding Father’s Exhibition explores the process of traditional photography, while showing an effusive display of rare and significant historic moments in the UAE, a country founded by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

Celebrating the story of the UAE through one man’s lens, Ramesh Shukla’s presentation takes you on a historic journey, detailing the art of photography through large-scale prints, video and a display of his collection of original photography equipment and film negatives.

His most notable photograph is of the UAE rulers standing in front of the UAE flag after having signed the Federation Agreement in 1971.

It was this photo that would be the inspiration for the symbol of the ‘Spirit of the Union’ which is now celebrated across the country. Describing his destiny and his presence in the UAE as being in ‘the right place at the right time’, this was just one of the moments that was captured through the lens of Ramesh Shukla.

You can also find Shukla’s photos in numerous prominent venues across the UAE, including in governmental offices and Dubai’s metro stations.

The exhibition also marks the launch of the photographer’s new book published by Motivate Media Group, titled The United Arab Emirates: Founding Fathers – Zayed and Rashid.

The book pays homage to the UAE’s founding fathers with photographs of exceptional moments in history – a lovely souvenir you can take home with you and a perfect coffee-table book.

The exhibition is open until April 7, 2019 and is open to the general public. Tickets cost Dhs25 for adults, Dhs10 for children under 25 and under 5s enter free.
