Here you can also find electronics, glassware and other goods. The area is clean and beautiful, with the modern Deira Tower surrounded by more traditional structures. The Deira area is Dubai’s commercial hub and known for its old markets so Baniyas Square is an excellent starting spot for your shopping trip in Deira. Naif Souq, or Naif Market, is one of the most popular places for shopping in Dubai because of its large selection of items. The Souq was originally a camel market, and today has a reputation as a top location for bargain items, gifts, and souvenirs. Although the market is a busy place during all operating hours, the evening hours see a lot of activity that helps make the market area famous.
