My Dubai Abra Boat Ride -Bur Dubai Creek to Deira Spice Souq Gold Textile Bazaar Traditional

Updated: April 19, 2024

Hi Guys,
Welcome to my Channel.
Today we are sharing video of our visit to Deira Dubai.
Travelling in Abra ,Popularly known as water taxis, there are more than 150 abras in Dubai. Each abra has the capacity to carry 20 people at a time. The abra transport system begins at 6 in the morning and continues till midnight. You can either choose to buy a one-way ticket or book a whole abra to explore the area for an hour or more. You will find two abra routes on Dubai Creek, one that goes from Deira Old Souk Abra Station to Bur Dubai Abra Station and the other from Al Sabkha Abra Station to Dubai Old Souk Abra Station.
The abra ride is the best way to enjoy sightseeing. The Dubai Creek represents old Dubai, where several old monuments and historical sites have been preserved. One of the major Dubai Creek attractions is Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, which is home to traditional houses made of wind towers and minarets. You will also get glimpses of the souks of Dubai, Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, etc. here. Apart from these, you will get to see the modern side of the city in the form of the commercial buildings, hotels, and most importantly the Deira Twin Towers. An abra ride during the day will give you the chance to see the hustle-bustle of Old Dubai, while an abra ride after sunset is the best way to enjoy the glittering view of the city.
