Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The UAE-based NSO Symphony Orchestra will perform its Movie Music Gala at Dubai Opera on Saturday 20 February 2021. The concerts will feature everyone’s favourite film music, from the classics to contemporary tunes, including the iconic Star Wars title theme, the swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, 2nd movement from The King’s Speech, Pink Panther’s theme tune, the powerful Gladiator title theme, and many more.

The NSO’s Movie Music Gala will be conducted by NSO Music Director Andrew Berryman and will include Carl Orff’s epic O, Fortuna from Carmina Burana, featuring the NSO Symphony Chorus. Special guest artist, Emirati pianist and composer Hamad Altaee, will perform one of his Inspiring pieces, Journey of Victory, accompanied by NSO.

Tickets, starting from AED195, are available on the Dubai Opera website for the 2pm and 8pm concerts on Saturday 20 February 2021.
