Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture, and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline.
At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks.

Al Satwa is a community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, comprising high-density retail outlets and private residential dwellings. It is located southwest of Bur Dubai and adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road. Originally, its residents were mainly of the Baloch tribe. As the government provided better houses for emaratis staying here, only few Arabs are found residing here. Notable features include the Iranian Hospital, Satwa Grand Mosque and the Al Satwa bus terminal. Al Satwa is known for its large South Asian community, especially Filipino Nationals. It is often referred to as mini-Manila by Filipino community. E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) forms the southern boundary of Al Satwa, Jumeirah 1 borders its northern area.

Bur Dubai is a historic district in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, located on the western side of the Dubai Creek. The name literally translates to Mainland Dubai, a reference to the traditional separation of the Bur Dubai area from Deira by the Dubai Creek. This is because Bur Dubai historically consisted of all districts between the western bank of the Creek and Jumeirah. Th Ruler’s Court is located in the district adjacent to the Grand Mosque. The district is home to several mosques including the Grand Mosque with the city’s tallest minaret,[1] and the blue tiled Iranian Mosque. The country’s only Hindu temple is situated between the Grand Mosque and the Creek. Mostly Indian Families lives in Bur Dubai. It is home to several popular places for tourists including renovated historic buildings and museums. The district has many shopping streets and souqs (or souk), including the textile souq near the abra boat station, though most of the well known souqs are located in Deira.

Deira is an area in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates bordered by the Persian Gulf, Sharjah and Dubai Creek.

Historically, Deira has been the commercial center of Dubai, but has been losing its importance during the past few years due to recent development along E 11 road (Sheikh Zayed Road) and areas further down the coast toward Abu Dhabi.Port Saeed is a small port along Deira’s shore of Dubai Creek. Port Saeed holds some of the dhow cruises and small shipping boats in Dubai.

Deira has developed much since its early days with the development of both overhead and underground metro tracks, a number of shopping malls springing up (e.g., the City Centre Deira Shopping Mall, and modern buildings and towers currently under construction within the area. Dubai’s airport is also located here. mostly Pakistani singles working in Dubai lives in Deira.
