At Molouk Shandiz Restaurant in Kuwait, Chef Kapitan Abed is famous for his mouthwatering lamb dishes. The lamb shoulders are meticulously prepared, with excess fat removed and slow-cooked for four hours with a mix of spices. They are served with fava bean rice, white rice, saffron rice, and topped with Kapitan Abed’s special sauce, Kermanshah oil, barberries, and slivered pistachios. The crispy tahdig, a traditional Iranian rice dish, and the pouring of hot oil over the food create a spectacular dining experience.

In addition to lamb dishes, Chef Kapitan Abed also crafts a tempting variety of kebabs, including chicken, lamb chops, fillet, and special barg kebabs. Each kebab is marinated for a month, skillfully skewered, and grilled to perfection on a large charcoal grill. The beautifully plated kebabs, accompanied by grilled peppers and tomatoes, showcase the chef’s passion and expertise.🍢🍖
My next destination was Caspia Iranian Restaurant & Cafe, offering a variety of tahchin dishes such as tahchin macaroni, beans, and chicken, along with various kebabs like barg kebab, koobideh, lamb shank, and stews like gheimeh and ghorme sabzi. Their exceptional breakfast included everything from omelets and scrambled eggs to jams, butter, olives, tomatoes, and cucumbers served with Barbari bread and Iranian Lavash, accompanied by fragrant tea. The flavors of their dishes were truly delightful and excellent.
