تقع محمية راس الخور للحياة البرية على بُعد مسافة قصيرة من المدينة وتضمّ أعداداً كبيرة من الطيور.
تشكّل هذه المحمية منطقة تكاثر للكثير من القشريات والثدييات والأسماك وطيور النحام وغيرها من الطيور التي يتوافد الزوار لرؤيتها خلال الشتاء.
•اكتشف راس الخور:
تعدّ راس الخور محمية طبيعية تتولّى بلدية دبي الإشراف عليها وحمايتها وتضمّ ثلاثة مناطق يمكن للزوار الدخول إليها في ساعات النهار لرؤية الطيور.
كما يمكن لعشاق الطبيعة أن يتأملوا الطيور في موطنها بينما يحافظون على هذه المحمية التي تضمّ المسطحات المالحة والمستنقعات الطينية وأشجار القرم والبحيرات التي تستخدمها الطيور لبناء أعشاشها.
اصطحب المنظار الخاص بك لمراقبة الطيور المهاجرة للتمتع برؤية تشكيلة رائعة من الألوان والأشكال والسلوكيات.
توفر محمية راس الخور فرصة لمراقبة الطيور من خلال أبراج المشاهدة الثلاثة لإعطاء الزوار رؤية أقرب للطيور وغيرها من الحيوانات البرية في المحمية.
تمتد توقيتات الحرم من رأس الخور للحياة البرية من الساعة 7:30 صباحاً إلى الساعة 5:30 مساءً خلال موسم الشتاء، ومن الساعة 6 صباحاً إلى الساعة 6 مساءً بين أبريل إلى سبتمبر.

In the wetlands, just metres away from the bustling city of Dubai, you’ll find the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s hard to believe you can find tens of thousands of birds in a spot so close to the city.
This expansive reserve also serves as a breeding ground each year for crustaceans, mammals, and fish, but it is the flamingos that steal the show in winter. Look closer among the mass of pink feathers, and you might spot grey herons, great egrets, reef herons, cormorants, black-winged stilts, sandpipers, osprey and more colourful species of birds.
From mammals and fish to invertebrates and exotic plants, come see the fauna and flora.
Bring along your binoculars to spot magnificent migratory and residents birds displaying a dazzling assortment of colours, sizes, shapes, and behaviours.
Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary offers bird watching through three bird hides at strategic locations to give visitors a closer view of birds and other wildlife in the area.
•Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary timings extend from 7:30am to 5:30pm during the winter season, and from 6am to 6pm between April to September.
