This is POV footage of the legendary Jumeirah Sceirah water slide at Wild Wadi in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. After having served as one of the world’s most famous water slides for 12 years, the original Jumeirah Sceirah was removed in 2012 and replaced by the new dual ride. The renewed Jumeirah Sceirah consists of two parallel and mostly enclosed speed slides starting with a launch capsule. Riders step into the cabin and after a countdown, the floor will disappear underneath their feet, making them plunge down the near-vertical drop simultaneously. The drop is followed by a short straight section, leading into the huge final drop before riders come to a stop in the run-out pool. Amazing ride!
