DUBAI”S SPICE SOUK – All You Need to Know before Going | The Travel and Kitchen

Dubai’s Spice Souk is a traditional Arabian market along Deira waterfront. It is open daily and located in Al Ras, Deira. The market is a popular tourist attraction because of the market’s vibrant and aromatic display of spices, herbs and teas.

The best way to get to the marketplace is by crossing the deira creek from Burdubai. Head to Al FAHIDI MARINE TRANSPORT STATION which is located in AL SEEF, from there you need to pay a very cheap AED 2 “abra” ride. The ride takes 5 minutes to get to DEIRA OLD SOUK ABRA STATION.

The market is a short 5 minutes walk from the marine station. There is another transportation option if you are not fond of riding boats which is by METRO TRAIN. Take the metro to AL RAS STATION, which is an eight-minutes walk from the destination.

It is truly a must visit place when you visit Dubai. Discovering new flavours, recipes and learning the countries unique culture.
