■ ETIHAD MUSEUM:
The Etihad Museum, historically called the Union House and formerly as the al-Diyafah Palace and the Jumeirah Guesthouse, is a museum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that collects, preserves, and displays the heritage of the UAE in the areas of social, political, cultural, scientific, and military history. It holds everything from old passports to personal artifacts of the rulers of UAE. The historic signing of the Constitution of the United Arab Emirates, the raising of the first UAE flag, and the formation of the United Arab Emirates as a country on 2 December 1971 took place within the area that forms the museum today. The museum is designed as a document to signify the signing of the UAE constitution. It costs 25 AED (6.81 USD) for an adult to visit it.

The museum encompasses the Union house, the location where the emirate’s founding fathers signed a declaration that marked the formation of the UAE in 1971 – it is now part of the museum complex. The museum was designed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects in the shape of a manuscript, with seven columns built into the museum to resemble the pens used to sign the original declaration. The building has eight permanent pavilions:
1. Pavilion One: Shows a documentary film about the history of the UAE.
2. Pavilion Two: Houses a panoramic interactive map highlighting the era before the formation of the federation.
3. Pavilion Three: An interactive timeline that demonstrates key historical events before the union.
4. Pavilion four: An interactive guide to the formation of the union.
5. Pavilion Six: A homage to the important moments and challenges confronted the founding fathers before 1971.
6. Pavilion Seven: This is dedicated to the UAE Constitution and includes the actual declaration itself.
7. Pavilion Eight: The final pavilion is an open gallery celebrating the newborn nation.

■ WILD WADI WATER PARK:
The Wild Wadi Water Park is an outdoor water park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Situated in the area of Jumeirah, next to the Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, the water park is operated by Jumeirah International, a Dubai-based hotelier.

Wild Wadi has a heated/cooled wave pool, multiple water slides and two artificial surfing machines. The park once had the largest water slide outside of North America, but it has since been removed to make space for two other rides. Another feature of the park is an 18m waterfall that goes off every 10minutes. The water park also has two gift shops, three restaurants and two snack stands.

It was featured in The Amazing Race 5 and The Amazing Race Asia 1, in which teams had to slide down a 21m drop. It was later featured in The Amazing Race Australia 2, but instead, the teams had to ride the Surf Machine and use boogie boards to surf their way to the end where they got their next clue. Rides include:
1. Ring Rides.
2. Tantrum Alley & Burj Surj, Jumeirah Sceirah, FlowRider rides.
3. Breakers Bay is the largest wave pool in the Middle East.
4. Juha’s Journey is a 360m long river which allows guest to relax and slowly float around the park.
5. Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon is Wild Wadi’s play area for children and has over 100 water games/rides.
6. Wipeout AND Riptide have only four of its kind in the world working by releasing seven tones of water in a second on a thin sheet, which is molded by a foam structure. In this way it produce a fantastic wave effect which is ideal for body-boarding and knee-boarding (or surfing during private parties).

The price of tickets in the Wild Wadi water park is based on the height of the person. It is separated into two categories: those above and below 1.1m tall. There are discounts on booking tickets online. Children under the age of two are free to enter with proof of age. There are charges for towel and lockers if required.
