Updated: April 1, 2024

Everything you need to know about Global Village Dubai…

Discover Dubai’s ultimate shopping and entertainment extravaganza. Taking place every year from October to April, it’s an amusement park like no other.

What is Global Village?

A huge, multi-cultural theme park, Global Village Dubai has so much to see and do. There are 27 global pavilions, heaps of cultural shows, carnival rides, street food stands, the region’s first oddity museum, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, and loads more.

What world global pavilions are there?

There are 27 pavilions to visit at Global Village Dubai representing 78 nations around the world. These pavilions this season are UAE, KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Africa, Americas, China, Egypt, Europe, India, Iran, Oman, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Yemen, Russia. The Al Sana’a and Khalifa Foundation pavilions will also be returning.

Two new countries will be added to the pavilion line-up in 2022, Qatar and Oman.

What are the restaurants at Global Village?

Food will be a massive focus at Global Village Dubai this year, with the addition of more than 100 new restaurants, cafés, kiosks and street food options.

Season 27 will include over 50 new dining concepts and more than 60 new partner restaurants, cafés and street food options.

Guests will be able to choose from 200 food options on site, with plenty of old favourites returning to join the new names.

What are the main attractions at Global Village Dubai?

As well as the pavilions at Global Village, there’s a heritage village to check out, as well as a main stage for daily shows, mission speed stunt show and kids’ theatre. There are fire fountain shows, heaps of tasty street food along Kiosk Street, an Indian chaat bazaar and a floating market. There’s also the huge carnival area with loads of rides.

New for 2022 will be the Global Village Big Balloon, a massive helium balloon that can float to the height of a six-storey building (around 61m above the ground).

Alongside the new balloon, there will be a House of Fear site — complete with a haunted cemetery.

Getting around Global Village Dubai

You can walk around the park easily, while RTA’s electric abras inside Global Village are a fun way to explore on water. Two abras are returning in 2022 and will take guests from one end of the man-made lake to the other, weaving in and out of the pavilions.

How much do Global Village tickets cost?

There are two ticket options in 2022. For the new season, there will be a value ticket, valid from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays) and an ‘any day’ ticket, available for one-off visits, any time.

The value ticket will cost Dhs20 per person and the any day ticket will be charged at Dhs25.

To get the best price, book online or via the app for a ten percent discount, making the value ticket Dhs18 and the ‘any day’ ticket Dhs22.50.

How to get to Dubai’s Global Village

The four routes are Route 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station, Route 103 from Union Metro Station, Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and Route 106 from Mall of Emirates Metro Station.
