Continuing with the Dubai series with Episode no.4
We are exploring the different side of Dubai, the Old Dubai.
Starting our day with a beautiful walk at Jumeirah Lake Towers, took the Dubai Metro for the first time to a place called Deira ( Old Dubai area), where there are different souks (market).
– Gold Souk
– Spice Souk
– Textile Souk
– Perfume Souk and many others.
We had never seen so much Gold in our lives, of what we saw in the Gold souk. Fragrant lanes of Spices enticed us at Spice Souk.
We also experienced the old era of Dubai of how Emirati’s lived before through Al Fahidi Historical District. Also, it comprises of cool wall arts, cafes, museums, galleries.
Couldn’t cover much of Meena bazaar though.

If you want a break from Skyscrapers, Old Dubai is a place one can enjoy the Different side of Dubai, much of cultural, historical Dubai.
