Damac Safa One Residential Complex | DUBAI Updated for 2024

Updated: April 12, 2024

Damac Safa One Residential Complex | DUBAI

The project is branded by Swiss luxury jeweler de Grisogono and the interior designs are inspired by the emeralds and diamonds that are commonly found on the jeweler’s most famous pieces.

Safa One will have views of Safa Park and the World Islands on one side, and views of Burj Al Arab and Palm Jumeirah on the other.

The theme of the project is “The Nature of Luxury”, with lush garden terraces and hanging gardens, an artificial beach and a swimming pool.

Tower A, the taller of the two tower blocks, will have an urban tropical island “with cascading waterfalls, plentiful plants, as well as the sounds and sights of exotic birds”.

Inspired by jade necklaces, the balconies will contain small gardens with exotic trees and flowers that give the facade a green garden effect.

The podium will have a shade-casting tree, tropical plants, and flowers.

The entrance will lead to a triple-height lobby with gemstone-themed furnishings.

There will be a spa and a fully-equipped gym as well as an exclusive clubhouse with an array of cafes and restaurants.

The are two “beach pools” with sand and temperature-controlled water.

A number of apartments in Tower A come with personal splash pools.

The rooftop will house a self-contained 32-metre-high roof garden with “manicured landscapes, birds on the wing, and an elegant selection of cafes and restaurants.” A state-of-the-art climate-control system will allow it to “produce tropical rain at select moments of the day, offering an experience found nowhere else on Earth.”

The project was originally planned in 2017 and a series of concept designs were published by Damac. The plot was demarcated but construction did not take place. The project was relaunched in 2022 as “Safa One by de Grisogono” with a completely new design.

The original 2017 concept design depicted a twin tower complex with landscaped roof gardens, grass-covered podiums, and towers fitted with car-lifts that ‘bring your car to your door without the need for ramps!’ The car lift did not make it to the later 2022 redesign.

One-, two- and three-bedroom apartments are available on the luxury levels, with two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom apartments on the super luxury levels.

At launch, prices started at Dh1.6 million ($435,970).

The 40th to 61st floors will be home to Damac’s “Skylofts Collection,” a range of penthouses and luxury units. According to the developer, the Skylofts Collection represents “a fresh approach to differentiating our ultra-luxury portfolio for end-users and property investors… the Skylofts Collection is the embodiment of a luxurious lifestyle unlike any other in Dubai, defined by opulent design aesthetics and access to uber-premium amenities.”
