Construction update: Expo 2020 Dubai | February 2019 Updated for 2024

With Expo 2020 Dubai now less than two years away, the organisers of the upcoming World Expo have revealed new drone footage showcasing construction site progress.

Expo 2020 Dubai will open its doors to the world on 20 October, 2020. Work is under way in full swing on various architectural highlights of the expo site, including the Al Wasl Plaza and its Thematic Districts.

In its latest drone footage of the construction site, Expo 2020 Dubai reveals that the Sustainability Pavilion, one of the World Expo’s key structures, is rapidly shaping up.

Additionally, Expo 2020 Dubai revealed, more than 60 million work hours have been completed on the megaproject’s construction site.
