Travel with us from Sports City to Umm Suqiem Beach. Umm Suqiem is located in western Dubai, along the Jumeirah Beach coastline.

This beach is very open, has few shopping opportunities but lots of beach space for lazing in the sun. Umm Suqiem Park is nearby and offers lots of seating and tables for picnics. There is also a fish restaurant in the park.

Swimming in the sea here is a great combination of playing in the waves and enjoying the calm waters (depending on the weather for the day). Just take note of the small sandbank. The beach drops down less than a meter and then levels out to a very enjoyable depth. Lots of lifeguards on duty.
