Bluewaters Island is an artificial island 500 metres (1,600 ft) off the Jumeirah Beach Residence coastline, near Dubai Marina, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The project was approved by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and unveiled on February 13, 2013. The artificial island will cost6 billion Dirham (1.6 billion USD, including the Dubai Eye . The island opened in November 2018.

Bluewaters Island will feature the 1 billion Dirham or ($270m) Dubai Eye, a 210-metre (689 ft) tall giant Ferris wheel. If completed, it will be taller than the current world’s tallest Ferris wheel,

It includes entertainment, hospitality, residential, and retail zones, and is forecast to attract more than three million visitors annually.
