Ain Dubai will become the world’s largest observation wheel positioned in the centre of Dubai’s newest man-made creation, Bluewaters Island.

Bluewaters Island is a world-class development by Meraas, the 210-metre tall Ain Dubai is set to be a monumental landmark and the centrepiece of the island alongside stylish low-rise residences, and a selection of international food and retail outlets.

The Dhs 6 Billion man-made project is visible from the beach with just around 300-metres away off the coast of JBR. Residents and visitors can enjoy exceptional waterfront living with more than 600 residences up for grabs featuring luxury apartments, townhouses, and penthouses as well as five-star hotels, beach clubs, and a plethora of leisure amenities for everyone.

The structure was first known as Dubai-I, the observation wheel can carry 1,400 passengers in its 48 spacious capsules, which will offer 360-degree views with its glass windows. The assembled hub and spindle is more or less 40 metres long and 20 metres high weighing a massive 1,805 tons equivalent to four A380 aircrafts and expected to be ready in 2021
