Hello Guys,

My Name is Yogesh Rohilla

About Belly Dance in Dubai:

Belly dance is a cultural element of the Arabs, not religious. Islam prohibits semi naked clothing. You won’t see belly dances in Arab countries who strictly enforce Islam, only the moderate ones are having belly dances in open.

So I will keep it short and precise since there is already a lot of details about it here.

Note : You must must go on a desert safari if you are visiting Dubai!

So this is the sequence of the entire tour.

1. They pick you up from hotel/pickup point.

2. Then there is about 1-hour drive to the Dessert, the road is via Hatta.

Usually, it is the same vehicle in which they are going to take you to Dune bashing.

3. First, they will stop you at a souvenir kind of shop from where you can buy hats and the cloth to tie on your head when you are roaming in Dessert. (not needed : ) . Over here they manage the air pressure from the vehicle because they are going to drive the same vehicle in the desert so they need to take out some air from the vehicle. Usually, the vehicle is “Toyota Land Cruiser”

Here you will find restrooms and also shops for snacks.

4. As you reach the dessert they will stop there for photography and also the pair up with other 4 cars. The first step is the Dune Bashing. (see photos of Dune bashing on the Google). I did not take a lot of pic of it as I was busy enjoying it.

So as the tour starts there will be about 5 cars going in the distance of above 30 feet away from each other. If you are in the first car, it means you have the best driver : )

You will have roller coasters like experience and one of the best kind of adventure.

Duration is about 25 minutes.

In between, they stop the cars and let the tourist take photos of the desert, till it sunsets. The sunset is beautiful in dessert.

5. Then they take you to the last stop where there is very very small camel ride. There is also sand skateboard if you know how to do it. These two are free and included.

There was a guy who was letting us take a picture with Flacon. We could carry it in our hands for 10 AED. In knight tours, this was included and we had 5 Falcons to take a pic with. Anyway!

6. Once you are done, there is a very nice village kind of setup done where they take you for other shows and dinner. As you enter they greet you with Arabic coffee/tea and Dates.

Here the Sheesha is free. But if you want the sheesha on your table you have to pay additional 50 AED. If you drink the Sheesha in the designated area only then it’s free.

Also Henna tatto is free here, there is a small hut setup done where you can go and ask for the Henna tattoo. (#Mehandi)
Plus here they let you wear their local dresses and take photos for free.

Tip: As you enter, Run and capture the seat nearest to the stage where all the shows will happen. You will get the best shots and view. We went twice and the sequence of show were little different in each.
