Dubai is the largest and most populous city of the United Arab Emirates. It is also the world’s leading passenger hub. Dubai has attracted the world’s attention through major construction projects, rich hotels and the organization of major sports tournaments.

1. Burj Khalifa
Burj Khalifa, Khalifa also spelled Khalīfah, mixed-use skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that is the world’s tallest building, according to all three of the main criteria by which such buildings are judged. Burj Khalifa (“Khalifa Tower”), known during construction as Burj Dubai, was officially named to honour the leader of the neighbouring emirate of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa ibn Zayed Al Nahyan. Although the tower was formally opened on January 4, 2010, the entirety of the interior was not complete at that time. Built to house a variety of commercial, residential, and hospitality ventures, the tower—whose intended height remained a closely guarded secret throughout its construction—reached completion at 162 floors and a height of 2,717 feet (828 metres). It was designed by the Chicago-based architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Adrian Smith served as architect, and William F. Baker served as structural engineer..

2. Burj al-Arab
Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is one of the most famous landmarks and tourist attractions in Dubai. The luxury all-suite hotel includes a range of fine-dining restaurants like SAL, incredible beaches and the expansive Burj Al Arab Terrace.

Since its opening in 1999, the Burj Al Arab has played host a covetable guest list of VIPs and celebrities from all over the world, helping put Dubai on the global luxury tourism map. Built on its own island, the sail-shaped building rises 321m, providing guests an amazing hotel room view of the Arabian Gulf.

3. Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah, artificial offshore islands in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the site of private residences and hotels. From the air, the archipelago resembles a stylized palm tree within a circle. Palm Jumeirah was built in the early 21st century and was largely financed from Dubai’s substantial income from petroleum.

4. Dubai Marina
Dubai Marina is a district in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is an artificial canal city, built along a 3-kilometre (2 mi) stretch of Persian Gulf shoreline. As of 2018, it has a population of 55,052. When the entire development is complete, it will accommodate more than 120,000 people in residential towers and villas. It is located on Interchange 5 between Jebel Ali Port and the area which hosts Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and the American University in Dubai. The first phase of this project has been completed. Dubai Marina was inspired by the Concord Pacific Place development along False Creek in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

5. Dubai Mall
Located in the heart of the prestigious Downtown Dubai is The Dubai Mall, the most-visited retail and entertainment destination, which welcomes more than 80 million visitors annually. The Dubai Mall has over 1,300 retail outlets, including two anchor department stores – Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s – and over 200 food and beverage outlets.

6. Dubai Aquarium
All nature lovers and adventure seekers, grab this amazing deal to explore one of the world’s largest indoor aquariums. Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo has won a Guinness World Record for the world’s ‘Largest Acrylic Panel.’ The Dubai Aquarium tank is located in ‘The Dubai Mall,’ it houses over 33,000 aquatic animals, consisting of over 150 species.

7. The Dubai Fountain
The Dubai Fountain is a choreographed fountain system located on the 12 hectare (30 acre) manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
