Animals of the Arabian desert – learn about animal tracks in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve Updated for 2024

Updated: March 22, 2024

In this video, Peter Bergh leads visitors on an informative morning walk in Dubai’s Desert Conservation Reserve to look for evidence of animal activity in the desert, including the bizarre behaviour of the palm dove or laughing dove.

This is part of the Hawk Walk, which takes place during the Sand Sherpa Special Reserve exclusive overnight camping adventure https://www.sandsherpa.com/desert-camping

Foxes, Arabian oryx, gazelle species, monitor lizards, scorpions, owls and other birds are common in the reserve, which is a 225-square-kilometre gated area just outside the city outskirts.
