Al Safa Park is a beautiful and one of the largest and most popular park public parks in Dubai that offers plenty of activities and attractions for visitors. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature, with plenty of walking paths, gardens, and ponds. The park also has a playground, restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby making it the perfect destination for a day out with friends or family.

Safa Park is a metropolitan oasis. It’s Dubai’s first public park. Safa Park has been a favorite weekend getaway for years.

When it was constructed in 1975, the site was outside the city, but it’s now quite central and offers views of the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai cityscape. Most attractions are accessible to all, and the park was constructed with ‘people of determination’ in mind.

Safa Park has grass, gardens, waterfalls, and 200 bird species. It’s the largest at 158 acres (64 hectares). Every member of the family will enjoy the sports facilities, picnic spots, playgrounds, and fairground.

Play volleyball and soccer on the grass. Jog along the park’s low-impact track and work out in the gym. There’s also tennis and basketball. The park’s tennis and basketball courts are popular with residents and newcomers.

Rent a bike or ride the tiny train if you don’t want to walk. The train has nine circular stops. Admire the plants, water features, and ornaments in the Japanese and Chinese gardens.

Try to escape the hedge maze. Walk one of the park’s three lakes or rent a paddleboat for the largest.

The games area includes a large trampoline, Ferris wheel, and bumper cars. A miniature traffic town has battery-powered autos, traffic lights, and road signage. Several parks have swings and slides for kids.

More than 200 local and migratory bird species have been sighted on the premises. Parakeets, geese, kingfishers, wood pigeons, and warblers.

Safa Park is open from early morning to late night daily for a modest cost. Picnic places and cafés are available.

The park is 12 km from downtown Dubai and borders Sheikh Zayed Road. Parking is fee-based. Business Bay Red Line Station is a short walk from the park. Despite being near Sheikh Zayed Road, the park is a calm refuge where people read books and jog.

Visitors go to this grassy area to see Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Water Canal. Rent a bike or relax beneath the trees for a few dirhams. It’s family-friendly, and many locals picnic there utilizing the permanent barbecues.
