BRAINSTORM – our showcase at Alserkal Avenue – where three performers wore EEG headbands and let their minds shape the room.

It opened with a jam between Ajay on a digital saxophone and Move, our motion-input music generation software. His brain activity, captured through the BRAINSTORM system, drove the visuals around them – color, intensity, and composition shifting with the balance of his brainwaves.

Colin took over on drums. His playing built the scene; his focus controlled its energy. Between fills, he triggered effects using nothing but hand movements through SoundX : Control, our camera-based gesture instrument.

Elijah closed the performance – voice, guitar, heart rate, and brain activity flowing through the visuals in real time.

Every system in this performance – Move, Control, the BRAINSTORM engine connecting mind to visuals – was built in-house. Most of it is still in development.
