Sherpa Camp is based in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve – a 225-square-kilometre area that has been protected for 23 years with very restricted access. We are the only company permitted to operate overnight camping experiences in this area. Adventurers stay in their own locations dotted around camp, but within a short walk of bathroom facilities.

The Sand Sherpa adventure begins on arrival when participants jump aboard our vintage Pinzgauer and Land Rover vehicles for their guided safari to camp. Then once at camp, they can enjoy their private camping set-ups or mingle with other participants in the main camp area for dinner/breakfast and on our evening scavenger hunt and morning hawk walk.

Sand Sherpa makes a donation to Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve for each participant attending an adventure in this very special area.
