Global Village in Dubai is located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road E 311 road (United Arab Emirates) Dubai.[1] It combines cultures of 90 countries across the world at one place. It claims to be the world’s largest tourism, leisure, shopping and entertainment project. It is the region’s first cultural, entertainment, family and shopping destination. Every year, it has over 5 million visitors over an area of 17,200,000 sq ft (1,600,000 m2).[2] The current admission fee is AED 15.

October 2020 will see popular Dubai tourist attraction Global Village reopen. The attraction, themed around the countries of the world, will be celebrating its 25th season and Silver Anniversary come opening. The 2020-2021 season is expected to run from October 2020 until April 2021.
Entry Tickets
AED 15 per person
Park entry tickets are valid for a single entry on any day during Season 25 (please note Monday’s are family days). Children under 3, People of Determination (with one companion each) and seniors above 65 can enter free of charge, but need a valid ticket.
Mondays will continue to be reserved for families and ladies only.

Countries from around the world are represented at Global Village. During the 25th season, the UAE, Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iran, Morocco, Yemen, Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Turkey were all represented with a pavilion.

There was also attractions representing a mixture of countries, continents and regions, including Pakistan, the Americas, the Balkan Peninsula, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, China, Africa and India.

History
Global Village started out in the form of a number of kiosks in January 1997 located on the Creek Side opposite to Dubai Municipality. It then later shifted to the Oud Metha Area near Wafi City for 5 years. Today, Global Village has 6 million visitors at its current location on exit of Sheikh Zayed Exit 37.[4][1]

Sections
There are four main sections in the Village. These sections consist of events and concerts, carnivals, food and shopping. The food aisle will have food from all over the world. Concerts, carnivals and shopping are the same.

Parking
Dubai Global Village has one of the largest capacity parking in Dubai with a total capacity of 18300 vehicles.[1] The parking is divided into two main categories. One is general parking which is free of cost while other is paid parking known as VIP Parking. There is valet parking available as well. The parking has a free train and shuttle bus to and from the park.
