Hello my dear friends, Today we are going to explore Guru Nanak Darbar.
It is locate in Sheikh Zayed Rd – Dubai
The Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai stands for peace and hope. Several years ago,
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum sanctioned 25,400
square feet of area, on which the Guru Nanak Darbar sikh temple Dubai
covers a 100,000 square feet. Apart from that, it is the first ISO
certified gurudwara in the world. It is run by the local Sikh community
and is visited by millions of Sikhs and non-Sikh tourists.

The Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai opening time is 4 AM as per UAE time zone.
The administrative office remains open from 9 AM to 9 PM, during which
you can inquire about the services held there and also book any of the
services offered. The ‘darshan’ or visiting time of the shrine is from
4:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
At the magnificently embellished prayer hall, you can sit back with the
regular Sikh visitors and hear the kirtans and religious messages. The
langar, a free meal serving, is the best experience you can have at Guru
Nanak Darbar Dubai. Here, you will be seated on the floor and can enjoy a
delicious vegetarian meal prepared in the gurdwara kitchen.

Here are a few tips you should keep in mind while visiting the gurudwara:
1. In order to show respect to Sikhism, both male and female visitors should
cover their heads with a scarf, handkerchief or any piece of cloth. If you
don’t bring one, the members at the gurudwara premises would provide you so.
2. Shoes are not allowed inside the building. So, it is recommended to keep
your shoes at the shoe storage area in the complex
3. The gurdwara has an aesthetic atmosphere where proper dressing is a given.
You should deter from wearing revealing dresses or dresses above knee length,
shorts, and skirts. Wrap a sarong around instead.
4. If you are visiting with a large group, make sure to inform through phone or
mail, so that the administration can make proper arrangement
