UAE Block 60 F-16 Desert Falcon Engages its Afterburner over Dubai – AIN Updated for 2024

The United Arab Emirates has made a big investment in its F-16 fighters, which have seen combat action as part of the Saudi-led operations against Houthi forces in Yemen.

The UAE Air Force now has 55 of the single-seat F-16E aircraft that are impressing in the flying display at the 2019 Dubai Air Show. It also has 25 of the two-seat F-16F model.

The UAE government reportedly spent more than $3 billion having specific upgrades developed for its F-16 E and F aircraft, and that’s why these models boast the special Desert Falcon designation.
