Despite the hot weather, there are actually a lot of things to do in Dubai in summer.

Everyone knows that you can visit malls, go out to eat, and do other indoor activities, but we wanted to show some of the more unique things to do.

These are some of the best things to do in Dubai in summer.

1) Summer Desert Safari

We always recommend people go on a desert safari when visiting Dubai, even during summer.

Due to the low moisture of the sand, the weather can often times be 7-10 degrees cooler in the desert. About an hour or two before sunset, the temperature can drop quite rapidly in the desert, and it can actually be pleasant to relax outdoors in an authentic desert camp.

2) Summer Boat Tour

Another great thing to do in Dubai in summer is going on a boat tour. Out on the water, it feels much cooler than in the city. The ocean breeze can be really refreshing, and it’s a great way to get outside even when it’s hot out.

3)Green Planet

Green Planet is a dome shaped indoor rainforest, and so it allows you to get a taste of nature while still escaping the heat of the city. The entire dome is temperature controlled, so it feels comfortable inside year round.
