After my cousin flew back to India, my dad became my travel partner to explore Dubai. On a typical Friday evening, we left for the Al Mamzar Beach Park not just to sit on the beach but actually swim in its waters. The entry ticket is AED 5 (INR 100) and the changing room is free of cost.

After the Mamzar beach swim, we took a boat ride from the Deira Old Souq station to another side of the creek. The boat ride was for AED 1 only and lasted for a few minutes. We visited the only Hindu temple in Dubai and went back home after having prasad by the water.
