Number 5: Kite Beach.
Kite Beach is a section of Umm Suqeim beach, near the northern end. It’s a wide, flat beach, and this is where to go for kayak and paddleboard rentals. The exposed beach is windy and popular with kitesurfers and people flying kites.

Number 4: Al Mamzar Beach Park.
Al Mamzar is a great family beach. The public park area has four beach areas, all staffed with lifeguards. There’s a picnic area, a playground for kids, and two large swimming pools. All are free and open to the public.

Number 3: La Mer Beach.
La Mer is known for its top seaside restaurants, cafés and plethora of ice cream parlours.
It’s just north of Old Dubai and combines a beautiful stretch of protected beach with restaurants, entertainment, and a water park.

Number 2: Umm Suqeim Beach OR Sunset Beach.
Umm Suqeim Beach is also known as Sunset Beach commonly due to its picturesque sunset views. It is an excellent beach in Dubai to spend a night out and even has a section lit up with floodlights for night time swimming. Enjoy the calm serenity of the beach as there aren’t any restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. You can also spot the Burj Al Arab from a distance from here while you enjoy a morning run or a romantic evening stroll.

Number 1: 1. Jumeirah Beach.
The biggest beach in Dubai is still the best. The massive JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence) Open Beach extends the full length of the JBR area. Although some parts are designated for hotels, most are wide open. There are full facilities every few hundred yards (kept spotlessly clean) and places to buy food and snacks.
The sand is fluffy white and powdery soft, and the water is warm and a beautiful blue-green color. There are lifeguards on duty, and swimming areas are roped off with buoys.
There are also multiple places to rent water toys and land toys like bikes and scooters. The Jumeriah beach is a local family favourite beach. It is a clean and well-maintained beach about 3km long and sectioned into an area for swimming and an area for water sports. You will usually see the beach filled with families in the evening and kids frolicking around. What also makes this one of the most popular beaches in Dubai is a stunning view of the iconic 7-star hotel, The Burj Al Arab, a perfect treat to the sore eyes.
